Idaho and fishing...

The weekend before the 4th we went to Idaho to visit. My parents spend the weekends at their property in Lava during the summer. If we want to see them much we have to trek along for a weekend here and there. Luckily Asher thinks its about the funnest thing in the world.

The highlight of the trip was Asher catching his first fish! He actually thought it was more fun to throw rocks in the water and yell "KERPLOP", but he was happy to reel in the fishing poll for a while.

The other highlight was getting invaded by mice in the trailer. One figured out how to run this loop from the top bunk to the floor, and back up through the walls. I about had a heart attack when it did it the first time in the middle of the night, because it involved it dropping right near my head and running on the wood around me. It did it about 7 times before it figured out Tom was getting pretty close to smacking it with his shoe. Just a fact of life when you stay in lava apparently... they are everywhere. It was bizarre.
