And Beyond!!!

Ash's favorite thing of the moment?

Buzz Lightyear...

except he doesn't call him Buzz

or even lightyear...

He says "mom... where is that And Beyond?"

or,

I say "what kind of fruit snacks do you want, Toy Story or Cars?"

He says "AND BEYOND!!!"

He also picks out the green alien fruit snacks and calls them "A-lee-ONES."

It's adorable.

Halloween Part 1

On Friday, Tom's sister Tiffany had a halloween party for all the kids (and parents). Asher was a little unsure about the whole costume thing, but decided he'd give it a try.

As soon as we got there and he saw everyone else in costumes he was in heaven. He is such a little party guy. He loves being with everyone. Here he is just running around:

Tom also had an awesome costume. He was a "semi-pro" (the movie) basketball player. He looked hot and yet hilarious at the same time.

They played a relay race game (use a spoon to move candy corns from one cup to another) and Asher just kept running the race track with his spoon. Laughing and giggling the whole way. Here he is with Tom and Rachie searching for his dropped candies:

I was a cowgirl. My costume wasn't really exciting. I wore my boots (with a high heel)... which turned out to be a horrible idea since I ended up running (real running) around for an hour. Tom and I got put in charge of a group of kids for a treasure hunt. We spent an hour running around the entire neighborhood searching for clues. By the end my legs were jello. I can run a few miles no problem... but apparently not in heels. Ash thought it was funny to do this with all the kids. At one point he told Tom "I love all these kids."

So... we are supposed to close on the new house this week! Lot of excitement to come...

Asher conversations...

Another favorite saying:

Asher: I'm gonna go upstairs and see daddy.
Me: Why?
Asher: Because I want to.

or

Asher: I'm gonna throw this at you.
Me: Why?
Asher: Because I want to.

There is no better reason!

Asher conversations...

My favorite thing of the moment that he says:

"Oh my goodness."

It's just so cute and girly. I love it.

Cute friends

Girls night was lots of fun (we miss you though Nat!). The kids like to hang out now too. I got a few pictures with some... they were all running around most of the night.

Here are the little ones:

Asher kept telling Dontae "I'll go ask my mom, ok?" and then he'd run to me and yell "MOM." After I said "what," he'd laugh and run back to the kids. He is such a spaz.

You can see how much fun he had:

Hayden was also sweet enough to give him a fruit snack. He kept wanting more, but I didn't take him serious because he normally hates them. I wondered about it so I bought him some the next day. He thinks they are like the BEST THING ever. He picked out Tinkerbell ones, and all day long he asks me for Tinkerbells. He has even had "two second freak outs" for them.

The witches are back...

We went to Gardner Village this weekend with my mom, Christa, and baby Addi. I love that place. We took Ash on the pony ride and into the petting zoo. He ran around yelling "Hi Pig" or "Hi Chicken." He really loves animals.

We also saw Jamie and her cute kids. She has two adorable girls.

Ash just loves to spend time with grandma and Christa. When it was time for them to leave he pouted and cried.

Here's Christa and Addi:

Can you believe how cute Addi is now that she has finally packed on a few pounds? She smiles so much for her mom.

and everyone:

I got some cute pictures of Ash... they are on Hello Mommy though (guess you'll have to visit!).

Holy Rollercoaster...

I'm hesitant to even throw this out there...

This whole house thing has been such a rollercoaster.

The ups...

and downs.

BUT...

It is sounding like we might buy that house after all.

What a mess the whole thing has been, but the current owners agreed to pay to fix the majority of things, so we are back on track.

They were so freaking picky over the price we didn't think there was a chance in the world they'd even consider the fixes. In the end though they agreed to fix some things, and we agreed to fix/live with some things. We started looking at houses again, and I think we ended up getting a good deal on this one. There's a whole lot of crap out there.

We'll see what the appraiser thinks.

I should just keep my fat mouth shut and not jinx anything...

but I'm just too EXCITED!!!

Up in FLAMES... (at least the leaking water might put them out)

So...

The inspection on the new house did not go great.

It appears the plumbing was a little out of WHACK.

We can buy the house and risk being washed away by the mass torrents of water that will probably break out sometime in the next six months...

or...

move on.

We are pretty much going to move on.

SUCK...

The real zoo...

Last weekend Tom had to do a charity walk for school. It was for Diabetes so a worthwhile cause. We took Ash in the wagon and walked the whole TWO miles. Not horribly long, but by the end Ash seemed a little BORED. Luckily the walk ended at the Hogle Zoo. That perked him up a little. Since it's one of his most favorite places we decided to stick around for a while.

(it's a sad day when I feel the need to give my pictures a soft light blur to hide all the wrinkles...)

The new baby elephant is adorable. She was out running around and playing.

And to end the whole trip we went for a ride on the Merry-Go-Round. As previously mentioned Ash LOVES them. Here is a good picture that shows his enjoyment of them.

Offer accepted!!!

If all goes well this might be our new house:

AND...

We'll be official residents of Bountiful.

Can you hardly believe it?

An offer has been made...

Again.

And Again.

And holy crap Again.

How many times can you counter offers on a house before they just freaking accept it.

Our feet are planted and we done with offers. Take it or leave it.

We'll see what happens!
