The farmer's market...

We took Ash to the farmer's market a few weeks ago and he was being pretty cute:

We had fun walking around and sipping on the best limeades I've ever tasted. We got lunch at the Sudanese stand, which I had been craving since Tom tried it last year. So yummy.

Ash asked me to take his picture by these little bears...

February Fun...

I can't believe the month is OVER...

Time flies... we have been so busy!

Tom's birthday was at the beginning on the month and we went to the "diver restaurant" (as Ash calls it... really the Mayan) since it's Ash's favorite. Tiff and Shawn, the boys, and Rachie and Grandma came along. So glad they were able to come! Ash LOVES hanging out with the boys and it he gets all crazy and hyper when they are around.

Cute Jax!

Then there was Valentine's day...

Grandma Mary sent Ash a cute Valentine's card in the mail... he was so excited to get actual mail that was for him!

His class at daycare was learning about Mexico and they were having a pinata at their Valentine party. He had been talking about the "fighting the piano" (= pinata) all week. I couldn't let him miss it (since he doesn't go to daycare on Fridays), so i took him for an hour to daycare on Friday. He had a ball hitting the pinata (he was about the only kid who could) and when it finally broke all the kids ran in, grabbed one piece of candy, then ran away to open and eat the candy. They didn't get the whole grab as much as you can concept. Awesome to see such innocence.

They also made cupcakes:

And Ash got a whole bag of valentines and candy (probably his favorite part!):

And last but not least... Ash has been loving his last backpack he got for Christmas. He wears it out and about every now and then. I have to convince him to take it off for the car ride, but then he'll put it back on as soon as we get out. Pretty cute...

The witches are back...

We went to Gardner Village this weekend with my mom, Christa, and baby Addi. I love that place. We took Ash on the pony ride and into the petting zoo. He ran around yelling "Hi Pig" or "Hi Chicken." He really loves animals.

We also saw Jamie and her cute kids. She has two adorable girls.

Ash just loves to spend time with grandma and Christa. When it was time for them to leave he pouted and cried.

Here's Christa and Addi:

Can you believe how cute Addi is now that she has finally packed on a few pounds? She smiles so much for her mom.

and everyone:

I got some cute pictures of Ash... they are on Hello Mommy though (guess you'll have to visit!).

The real zoo...

Last weekend Tom had to do a charity walk for school. It was for Diabetes so a worthwhile cause. We took Ash in the wagon and walked the whole TWO miles. Not horribly long, but by the end Ash seemed a little BORED. Luckily the walk ended at the Hogle Zoo. That perked him up a little. Since it's one of his most favorite places we decided to stick around for a while.

(it's a sad day when I feel the need to give my pictures a soft light blur to hide all the wrinkles...)

The new baby elephant is adorable. She was out running around and playing.

And to end the whole trip we went for a ride on the Merry-Go-Round. As previously mentioned Ash LOVES them. Here is a good picture that shows his enjoyment of them.

This one's for the birds...

I'm late on posts lately!!! Been busy. Doing stuff. Like going to the Tracy Aviary!

We went to the Tracy Aviary with Brandon, Elissa, Tyson, Crystal, and Ellee. While the actual Aviary itself wasn't SOOO exciting, it was still fun to go hang out with everyone.

I'm not gonna lie... Ash didn't care THAT much for the birds. Maybe a little at first, but after about a half hour walking around he just really wanted to ride the Liberty Park merry-go-round again. THAT was what he liked about the whole trip.

He also likes his friend Ellee. Have I mentioned before she is adorable?

And spending time with his daddy:
