Easter was lots of fun this year with two crazy munchkins. We spent some time at both grandmas coloring eggs and having an Easter egg hunt. Ash came away with a huge basket of candy (that is still here a month later... that kid just doesn't eat his candy).

Easter for me was a little sad, because I remember one year earlier coloring eggs without my dad because he was in the hospital, and thinking "next year he'll be here..." We definitely missed ya dad.

Baby girl Macie Kate...

Baby Macie let me take her picture the other day...

Oh man... she is SOOOO cute. Tiny and perfect and wonderful.

I hated to cover up that amazing hair, but she did look cute in her little hat:

She would not lay on her belly for anything. We'd turn her over and she'd turn her head the opposite of me no matter how I turned her around. I finally managed to get one...


But removing the diaper was a mistake because as soon as she got a little cool air on her booty she would tinkle or poop. Little stinker...


And the little munchkin all snuggled up...







She was really good... but she was happy to be done so she could snuggle up with grandpa and be left alone.

Brandon and Elissa's cute new addition. She is adorable. Huge cheeks, thick wild black hair, and so beautiful. Babies just don't get much cuter.



I've only been able to see her for a minute, but she is amazing. I can't wait to go see her again.

Oh... and I kept thinking Ash had lots of black hair when he was born... but I was WRONG... this is nothing compared to Macie (although they do look a little alike?).


I've officially been taught what thick black hair on a baby looks like...
