We bought the citypass things, so we got to go to Disneyland for three days, Universal, SeaWorld, and San Diego Zoo.
We started at Disneyland... something about that place just makes you feel like a kid. It's so fun. This time we kind of did it from a little ones perspective, so we got to ride all the little kid rides that I've never ridden before. The best part is adults can totally ride all the rides so Ash wasn't really even afraid of most of them.
He wasn't so sure about the characters, but he loved Pluto for some reason. Maybe he just looks like a big stuffed animal or something. He went right up and hugged him. Everyone else he just kind of shunned.

It was all decorated for Christmas and so pretty. The It's a Small World ride had Christmas music (but even Asher thought that ride was WAY too long). The Princess Castle was all lit up at night with blue and purple lights. So pretty!!!
We just had tons of fun. Ash even liked just walking around.

Ash loved spending so much time with his dad. They are two peas in a pod.

When Ash wouldn't go visit the characters, Rachie would jump in for him.

Me and Ash went on the Autotopia ride and they gave him a little driver's license. Ash was so excited. He kept saying that he could drive now. I asked him where he wanted to drive to and he said, "Dick's, to get some ham sandwiches." Such a crazy.

The first day wasn't too busy and we got to ride a bunch of rides. Ash really liked both of the Toy Story rides, the Tuck and Roll bumper cars, and even the Pirates ride. He hated Haunted Mansion (because we got stuck in the elevator with a bunch of screaming girls), and the Bugs Life 3D show (because he thought for sure Hopper was going to come and get him).

We ate at the Rainforest Cafe (which is expensive and not really good food), and the Storyteller Cafe (which has an AMAZING breakfast buffet... so worth the price).
We wanted to go to Universal so Ash could see some of the superheros. Last time we went some of them were out walking around. This time... none. We had SpongeBob, the Simpsons, Lucille Ball, a Mummy... no superheros. Lame.

Ash liked the Pets show. He HATED the WaterWorld show. The guns scared him horribly. I felt guilty making him watch it.

Universal was so dead we could walk on any of the rides. Ash couldn't really ride any of them so it was perfect and we could take turns. We took him on the lot tour and the tunnel part with king kong and the dinosaur freaked him out. So every time we got on a bus or little train he wanted to know if it went through a tunnel with a gorilla!

We tried to split a day between San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld because they are both a good drive away and we couldn't decide which to go to. I figured the zoo would be two to three hours like the one in Salt Lake, but it was seriously HUGE! We were there for two hours and all we did was walk through the kids section, the reptile area, and ride the bus that goes around the whole zoo. Next time we will have to spend the whole day.
After that we went to SeaWorld and Rachie powered us through there in one afternoon. We fed everything... (did you know Dolphins like jello?)

We walked for miles...

We saw all the shows...

Ash was spoiled freaking rotten... he got something pretty much daily. He really liked the woody doll and the dolphin.

He and Rachie kept singing the Shamu song. It is pretty funny. Da Da, Da Da, Shamu, Shamu!
On Saturday we went back to Disneyland and it RAINED!!! We had to get those slicker things and run from ride to ride. It wasn't too bad, but luckily it kept most of the people away. I didn't take my camera cause I didn't want it to get wet. I'll have to get Rachie's pics from her. Ash was so cute in his little slicker.
Sunday was cold, but it didn't keep the people away. It was SOO busy. Our favorite ride, the Toy Story one, had a 60 minute wait. Yuck. Worth the wait though.

We had so much fun. Ash keeps asking me when we are going to Disneyland again. Hopefully soon!
