First of all we gained a beautiful baby niece... Lyhla (pronounced with a hard I sound).
As usual Crystal looked just as beautiful as ever afterward. I seriously don't know how she does it.
Lyhla was making all sorts of adorable baby sounds as I held her. She is amazing. Big Sis Ellee thought she was pretty cool, but she was VERY concerned about her mommy. She wanted her out of the hospital and feeling better.
Later that night we lost a grandpa. My dad's dad. I'm very sad, but I think he will find peace now and be out of pain. I will always remember him for his awesome sense of humor {I like to think I got a small portion of it}.

I didn't know him very well but everytime we were around him he was so sweet and nice to me. And definately very funny! Thats where your dad gets it from! I'm sorry for the loss in the family, he will be missed. I hope your grandma and Dad are doing okay, been thinking of them all day today and yesterday.
Yes what an odd day. Joy and sadness. I think it might be neat, maybe in a weird way, to know you were born the day your great grandpa died. Lyhla is so cute! Did Tyson know that Grandpa's sister's name is Lila?
I too loved Grandpa's humor. I will definitely miss him.
