Happy Thanksgiving (a few days late)

Life has been crazy! So busy.

Thanksgiving was awesome this year. It was so nice to enjoy our own family and spend time with Tom. He is so busy with school we sometimes forget how little we see him, until we actually get to spend a whole day with him. I love it. Asher loves it.

We also love spending time with all the rest of our family. On Thursday we had dinner at my mom and dads. Ash got to hang with Ellee (his new favorite friend... they are finally big enough to play). They hug each other when its time to go and it's so adorable. I took a picture with my dad's camera... I'll have to get a copy of it.

Friday Ash and I ventured out for a minute... but mostly just to get a refund on our fridge. We had to buy one for the new house and it was one of the doorbuster deals for black friday. I ended up getting $300 bucks back because they will price match for 30 days after you buy. That was freaking lucky.

Then we went to my mom's again to see baby Addi and give her a glowworm. I saw one while shopping and remembered back to when Ash was born and Tom came home with one. "Every baby has to have one," he said.

Saturday was Thanksgiving at Tom's mom's house. I love how fun and loud everyone there is. It's like a real party with REALLY good food. Noralyn gave Ash some "beyond" pajamas and action figure. He was in heaven.

Here he is with "al-e-one" fingers:

And loving Aunt Rachie:

We had a sleep over party (with just us at our own house... this is still a favorite). We put a mattress in the living room... as soon as that's out Ash will say "need popcorn." Then we watch a movie and have sleep over party. Not the best nights sleep but Ash loves it and asks for it every weekend.

On Sunday we put up Christmas lights. Our new friend Maddie from across the street came to hang out. She is adorable, but I swear if I hear "and then" or "Once..." again for the next month I might get a little crazy. She talks my ear off. All kinds of stories. She's just so cute though.

I am starting to appreciate Thanksgiving more and more. So great to spend time with family.
