The ipod...

One of Ash’s little friends at daycare started showing up with an mp3 player. He’s not even two yet!!! I couldn’t believe it… UNTIL Ash got a hold of Tom’s ipod.

I’m starting to think Apple is an evil genius… one who has found a way to implant a love for all things ipod in our brains… maybe even now at the moment of birth.

Ash is obsessed.

Won’t let go of the stupid thing.

If I get near him, he looks at me and says “NO.” “No take it.” He got in trouble the other day for throwing his food and he got a “time out” from the ipod. He cried… real tears and everything. Cried harder than I’ve maybe EVER seen him cry.

Jerry Seinfeld on his kids:
“I have been reduced to small-time mob boss tactics: threats, fear… I use intimidation on them. I figure out what they like and then I threaten to hurt those things.”

He knows the batteries will run out and it will need more “juice.” I told him it would have more juice after his nap. I hear him rolling around for a second after his nap. Then the first words out of his mouth… “pod”.

Silly bean.

Oh this is too funny! I know what you mean though, I swear most 8 year olds could probably work an Ipod or computer better than I could! That's so cute about the needing more "juice". And of course that's the first thing out of his mouth when he wakes up...they never forget!
