Bad haircuts, talking, and more...

THE HAIR:

Ash's hair has been butchered. I took him to Cookie Cutters... I asked for a 1/2 inch trim... and we went from something like this:


to this:


Tom and I both agree it is totally girly. All curls are gone and the bangs are way to far to the sides. I can't decide whether to let it grow back out, or just go have it cut back into the faux hawk.

TALKING:
Ash talks A LOT now. It's awesome because he can tell me what he wants, that he is poopy, or for example today he was able to tell me how he let the cat outside (she's supposed to stay inside).

I was making dinner. Not paying attention as he opened and closed the door.


Until he ran back into the kitchen and yelled "MAISY" and then "GO".


He'd come to tell me he'd let maisy out. He's not only smart enough to understand she can't go out, but that he should come tell me she did go out. Wowsa. He then spent the next half hour following me around outside yelling "MAISY" and "C'MON".

DADDY LOVE
Maisy is not the only one subject to being bossed around. Ash was mostly standing by the door waiting for dad to get home. This is what he does while he is waiting:
