Best buddies

Emers and his dad have a special bond. Em is Tom's little mini me and he just loves his papa. It is so cute to watch his face light up when he sees him and he'll start clapping and yelling da da!!!




I love that they are so smitten with each other. Ash and I are still best buds (unless dad will take him fishing, then he could care less if I'm involved).

I couldn't have picked a better dad for these boys. Happy fathers day love!

Too cool for school...

Ash is registered for kindergarten. I'm completely sad and excited at the same time. It's too soon. He's too young. And I can't be old enough to have a kid that big. BUT he will have so much fun that I know he will love it.

They took pictures at preschool the other day and when I saw this cute picture I thought that pretty much sums him up. So funny and cute and happy. I love it.

Easter was lots of fun this year with two crazy munchkins. We spent some time at both grandmas coloring eggs and having an Easter egg hunt. Ash came away with a huge basket of candy (that is still here a month later... that kid just doesn't eat his candy).

Easter for me was a little sad, because I remember one year earlier coloring eggs without my dad because he was in the hospital, and thinking "next year he'll be here..." We definitely missed ya dad.

Jumpers...

We went to a birthday party for the kid's cousin Colton today. It was at the Get Air trampoline center in the Kaysville sportsplex. The kids loved it. Asher didn't want to leave and Emers kept showing his big cheesy grin.

I texted that to Tom and he said "tell him to get the hell out of there!" No girlfriends for Ash yet apparently.

Happiest baby on earth...

Disneyland is a special place for us.

Tom and I fell in love at Disneyland. We went as just friends and then realized we didn't want to ride the rides with anyone else...

I found out I was pregnant with Asher at Disneyland.

And Emers was actually made during a trip to Disneyland.

Surprisingly, if you make your baby while vacationing at the happiest place on earth, it actually makes him the happiest baby on earth.





We're still trying to figure out where Asher was conceived to create the craziest child on earth...





(p.s. Where is the iPhone 5? I take a million pictures on my phone and they all turn out like crap. I can't bring myself to get the 4 now, since the 5 is supposed to come out this summer... but I need a better phone camera.)

Happy to be naked...

Em loves his bath time so much. I'm not sure if its the actual bath part, or the being naked part. Either way, he loves getting in the tub and playing in the water. As soon as I take him in the bathroom he gets REALLY exited.

I'm not gonna lie. If he's having a fussy day (he really only fusses when he's tired) and I need to buy a few minutes of happy baby time, I will put him in the bathroom and pretend he's going to take a bath. Always works...

The snuggler...

My baby loves to snuggle himself to sleep.

He won't snuggle with me during the day. And he doesn't want to be held to go to sleep. He just wants to hold your face, or put his arm on you.
