Happy Mommy's Day!

My first mother's day! I was so bummed to have missed it last year. I wanted a pic of me and the boy and I'll I got was this "do I have to do it" face. Still cute though.

Here mom... I got these for you!

Now that he can crawl everything is fun. Including the cat food. He did this twice and has left it alone since. Hopefully he had his fun and is bored by them now.

It's all about the hair...

Ash and his hair... Everyone always says his face is cute and he could be the gerber baby, but the hair gets the most attention.

Before he was born Tom said he wanted to do his hair in a mohawk. While we were at the hospital Tom took the baby to the nursery for a bath and when they came back... there was the mohawk. Ash was born with thick dark hair that just did it perfectly. People used to ask me if I'd had it styled at a salon.

In March the mohawk was just too long to stand anymore. I'd been trimming it, but we got to the point where it was just past my ability to fix. I made an appointment at the baby hair salon. Ash got in the little truck and they put on the cape... it was too cute. This is what he looked like:

He did not like the hair razor, but the cutting part was ok. Afterwards they put some little baby pomade (sp?) it it, gave him a balloon and sent us on our way. He just looked so freaking cute.

I guess it's time...

Well... I never thought I'd do this... but this is going to be my cute little blog. We'll see what happens.
