Birthday presents...

He calls it a "lawn mower"


He's literally ridden it about 3-4 of the 5 hours he's owned it so far. I think we made a good choice.

Triple threat...

So... Asher is three.

Yikes.

He talks SOOOO much. Like all the time. The phone guy came to fix our phone line, and he couldn't believe how many questions Ash asked him. He said "go buy that kid some medical books and start teaching him. He is smart!"

I know... I'm his parent. Of course I think he's smart. But he really is.

Ash still goes to daycare, which he loves. He has a best friend named Killian (who is adorable). It's so obvious why they are friends. They are on the same level. Both smart, speak very well, and COMPLETE boys. The other day when I came to pick up Ash, Killian ran over, elbowed Ash (lightly) in the gut and they both just fell over laughing. I guess that's the way it works in boy world.


Ash also likes to play with the kids in the neighborhood. Every day when we get home he asks if they are out. He will grab his backpack and ask me to walk him down to their house. They are all girls, so they don't really want to play fighting with his transformers. He is also terrified to jump on the tramp with them, so it doesn't usually last long. He plays for about five minutes then comes back home.

He doesn't ask for High School Musical "fight the cars" everyday anymore. He just wanted me to fast forward to the "Boys are Back" song anyway... so I'm glad that's kind of over.

Since he talks so much, part of the fun right now is just to see what he will think up to say. It's always funny. And involves a million questions.

Ash is such a sweet kid. He is totally rambunctious, but it makes him who he is. A fun, hilarious, awesome boy. We love love love him!
