Wedding day...

My parents are finally free. The last child has officially gotten married and moved his butt out of the house. Brandon married Elissa on Saturday. Cute wedding for a cute couple. Lots of pink everywhere. Wish I had more pics to share.

I did a horrible job at getting pictures. I got a few of Elissa... none of Brandon (sad because he looked so cute in his tux)... and tons of Ash. Oh well... hopefully I can get some from brand to put up here.

Marking the moment...

Just wanted to mark this moment in time... we FINALLY got high speed internet! My parents can't get it at their house (wierd huh!) and I just was used to dial up. Well... free dial up anyway. I just didn't want to pay for it. I had to give in though. I couldn't take it anymore.

Let me explain the bruises...

So with the new walking comes the falling. At first it was really unsteady walking that resulted in him catapulting into the nearest object. If that object was hard, or there was no object and he hit the floor it could result in a bruised nogin. He has had several bruises on his forehead over the last week. I now ask him what happens when he goes "bonk" and he will hit his head with his hand. I swear I don't beat the kid. He's been banned from the bathroom because the tub and toilet are just way to close to the walking path and the tile is way too slippery. The good news is he is getting better and better every day! Much less falling now. I take him outside often with his walking truck and he cruises all over. I think the practice is helping! It is so cool to see him walk though. You can tell by the look on his face he thinks he is so big now.

So he can walk now...

It's finally happened. Ash started walking. He can take a few steps, then he falls, then he stands back up and takes off again. I think I'm in trouble.

Playing at the park...

Who ever thought up the concept of a park deserves a free diet coke. It is officially our new hang out. Luckily there is one about a mile away so we just walk over and Ash plays for a while. I get my lazy butt out and Ash gets to have fun. We took grandpa to the park by his house and showed him how much fun it is.

I don't know who had more fun...

Daddy love...

Tom and Ash have a special bond. It is so cute to see them together playing. Asher mimics everything daddy does and the only way he'll eat anything now is if daddy eats it to. (Meal time has gotten fun). These are some cute pics of the two together.

On the plane coming home from Cali:

Just hanging out at home:

Two peas in a pod. I definitely need a little girl now. And just for fun... one with mommy:

He crawls right into my lap and goes to sleep. I feel so love-ed.

Celebs...

Since I am a celebrity gossip dork... Here are my celeb sitings while in California:

Kobe Bryant - Getting on the boat ride while we stood in line. They stopped letting anyone on while he rode it with the wife and kids. We had to stand there and wait for him to finish to get the line moving again.

Julia Roberts - Walking into Disneyland as we were leaving on 7/1. She was totally low key with her hair pulled up under her hat. She looked shorter and smaller than I thought she would be. There with her twins. (i was the only one who saw her and I don't think anyone believed me... but I just saw a post online somewhere about how she WAS there.)

David Arquette - Playing basketball on Venice Beach. I didn't actually see him, but the boys played ball with him.
